These terms govern your use of AnswerVault at answervault.co.uk ("the Service"), operated by Crocker Digital Ltd (Company No. 17008789), registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@answervault.co.uk.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are for business use within your organisation. You may not share account credentials outside your organisation or resell access to the Service.

What the Service does

AnswerVault helps businesses store, organise, and reuse ESG-related facts, evidence, and questionnaire responses. The Service includes a web application, document storage, response templates, and related tools.

Content, guides, and tools on the website are for general information only. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional ESG advice. Seek appropriate professional advice before making business decisions based on content found here.

Free tools

The free tools on this website (calculators, checklists, checkers) provide general guidance. Results are indicative and should not be treated as professional assessments. We accept no liability for decisions made based on tool outputs.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes the activities described in our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually at the prices displayed at the time of purchase. Prices exclude VAT.

  • Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.
  • Payment: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription, we will refund the charge in full. After that, no refunds are given for partial billing periods.
  • Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Price changes apply from the next billing cycle after the notice period.

Your data

You own the data you store in AnswerVault. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We process your data only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may export your data at any time using the data export feature in your account settings.

Our intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, software, and tool designs — is owned by Crocker Digital Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our content without prior written consent.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • Crocker Digital Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

On account closure, your data enters a 30-day recovery window. After that, it is permanently deleted. See our Data Retention Policy for details.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
