How does the 14-day free trial work?

When you sign up, you get full access to your chosen plan for 14 days with no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can subscribe to continue or your account will be paused until you choose a plan.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the cost is prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You can manage your subscription from the billing settings in your dashboard.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. We do not currently accept bank transfers or purchase orders.

If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge, we will refund you in full. After that, cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period and no partial refund is issued. See our terms of service for full details.

What happens when I cancel?

You keep access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account is paused but your data is preserved for 30 days. You can resubscribe at any time to pick up where you left off. Any feedback you provide during cancellation is retained for 730 days per our privacy policy for product-improvement and churn analysis. See our cancellation policy for details.

Most teams can create their vault, upload core evidence, and answer a first questionnaire within the first hour. AnswerVault comes pre-loaded with 40 starter facts to help you get started straight away.

What if AnswerVault goes out of business?

Accepted Answer

You always own your data. We commit to a 60-day notice before any service shutdown, during which you keep full access to export every fact, document, and questionnaire response. Exports are in open formats (PDF, XLSX, ZIP) so they remain usable anywhere — no proprietary lock-in. Your audit trail and integrity checksums export with the data so a successor system or auditor can verify nothing was tampered with.
