Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 February 2026
1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Crocker Digital Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of AnswerVault, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform.
We take a minimal approach to cookies. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use any advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
3. Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies (session cookies)
We use session cookies solely for authentication purposes. These cookies are essential for you to log in to your AnswerVault account and use the platform securely.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session | Session / 1 hour | Strictly necessary |
These cookies are classified as "strictly necessary" under UK cookie regulations and do not require your consent. They are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the platform.
4. Analytics (Cookieless)
We use GoatCounter for website analytics. GoatCounter is a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool that:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not track individual users
- Does not collect personally identifiable information
- Does not use fingerprinting
- Provides only aggregate, anonymous page view statistics
Because GoatCounter does not use cookies or track individuals, it does not require cookie consent under UK regulations.
5. No Third-Party Tracking Cookies
We do not use any of the following:
- Google Analytics or any Google tracking services
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking pixels
- Advertising or remarketing cookies
- Cross-site tracking technologies
- Third-party analytics cookies
6. Cookie Consent
Because we only use strictly necessary session cookies for authentication and our analytics tool (GoatCounter) is cookieless, we do not need to display a cookie consent banner under UK privacy regulations (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended).
If we ever introduce additional cookies in the future (such as preference or performance cookies), we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms before doing so.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block our session cookies, you will not be able to log in to or use the AnswerVault platform.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
